A parlay pays only if every leg comes in. The odds multiply, and so does each leg's margin: a 4-leg parlay of -110 legs carries close to 17% of built-in margin, against about 4.5% on a single -110 bet. Some books also price same-game parlays below what the legs would multiply to.
